Heaven's War
Placed in a war I did not desire,
Chosen to be tormented in Satan's fire,
Daily I prayed to the Mighty Lord;
I remained in his glory, and I picked up my sword.
Mighty one, I pray, grant me the grace
To step upon the enemy's face,
And when the day is over and done,
Let him know that I have won.
Eternal war I fight knowing
That the glory of God I shall be showing.
Heavenly angels shield my day
That Satan's doom is on the way.
All his angels, all that is evil and rebels against my King,
Praise be to God, his holy angels sing.
Remain in the armor, for God is always near;
He shall pick you up and wipe your tear.
The battle of good and evil is not a bedtime story;
Believe in the Bible and the Lord's might and glory.
Have faith in yourself: you are not in this alone;
The battle is to overcome God's heavenly throne.
God knows everything; you are precious in his sight;
You are chosen by the Lord first to battle the heavenly fight.
