As the sun rise’s and the stars fade away,

I pray to the lord one good day,

 

A day with blessing’s in every thing I do,

Being thankful for the day that’s fresh and brand new,

 

A day of grace with love and sharing,

A day of peace joy and caring,

 

A day of no worries or problems to arise,

A day of good health and sunny blue sky’s,

 

A day to keep busy whether work or play,

A day to be safe out of harms way,

 

A day of happiness and to be care free,

With angels to guide and guard over me,

 

Looking forward to the day ahead,

Counting my blessing’s with the breaking of bread,

 

As the day goes by let the afternoon be a delight,

May goodness follow me into the night,

 

Thank you lord for being so kind,

As I live for today I keep you in mind.
