The Teenage Prayer
Ill take your prayer’s my soul needs fuel,
But please don’t ask me to break the golden rule,
My body is well I don’t want to choke,
So please don’t ask me to have a smoke,
I will not have sex I will not get naked,
My body is Holy pure and sacred,
My mind is clear I will not fall,
So please don’t offer me alcohol,
I go to the cross to pray and kneel,
So please don’t ask me to sneak or steel,
God gave me a sound mind I am no fool,
I shall do my beast to finish school,
On Sundays for me you search,
All be breaking bread at my church,
I know the world has many dangers,
You won’t find me talking to strangers,
All spend my days praising the lord out loud,
And to do my best to make my parents proud,
Angels will guide me threw out my day,
And in the lords care I shall stay,
Evil shall stay far from me that’s a must!
For in the lord’s way I shall trust,
I may be young but I am still growing,
And the lords grace
The lord is on my side to do my best,
Ill do my part to stay pure, the lord shall do the rest.
I know if it’s wrong or foolish or no good,
When the devil said I can’t the lord said I could.
