All-Knowing Father

You know my sorrows, You know my tears;
You know my misery through out the years.

I am looking for answers that cannot be found...
Do You think You can turn my life around?

Can You restore the joy I once embraced?
Can You set my life in a happy place?

I want to be secure in this world You made;
I don't want to be sad, sick and afraid.

Could You bless me and give me a chance
For peace and joy and even romance?

Can You give me the strength to do what's right?
I pray to You, Father, day and night.

Can You turn the page to a new chapter in life?
I want to do good, maybe even be a wife.

Heavenly Father, I want to do your will;
I don't want to be forever climbing up a hill.

If I am meant to belong to Jesus, that's just fine too;
I just don't want to live in a world that is blue.

You know I love Jesus, for He is Lord;
Should I just start fighting and pick up my sword?

I just got to know the plans You have for me;
I want to be happy: set these chains free.

Father, set me on a stool so high,
Put on my wings so I can sing and fly.

I just want to be in a better place,
I live in your love; I live in your grace.
