Home Is Where You Pray
You can live in a palace our in a doorway,
Just remember home is where you pray,
If you’re in a jail cell or a hospital bed,
Prayers are forever that stay in your head,
If you live in a car or on the beach,
Your prayers are always in the lords reach,
If you live in a homeless shelter or you wonder and
The lord heres your prares where ever you call home,
It doesn’t matter where you are,
The lord will never be too far,
Your roof may be painted in silver and gold,
You’re each and every prayer the lord will hold,
It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor,
Your prayers are gathered at heaven’s door,
You can pray in a room filled with people,
You can go to your church and sit at the steeple,
It really doesn’t matter where you stay,
What really matters is that you pray,
You and the lord will never part,
Your home is the lord in your heart.
