Waking in the morning the Lords presence I find,

Calm and secure I find peace of mind,

 

It’s a gift to know all is good and well,

For within the Lords house I shall keep and dwell,

 

Such a delight to hear all the birds sing,

Knowing many blessings the day shall truly bring,

 

The Lord makes sure all will fall in place,

Guiding me with love happiness and grace,

 

Knowing my loved ones are all safe and sound,

For in the lord’s care I am truly bound,

 

Always being thankful through out the precious day,

Knowing in my heart things will go my way,

 

Cherishing the day weather rain or shine,

Once again I am grateful to have peace of mind,

 

Nothing to worry upset or disturb me,

There will be joy in my day safe and care free,

 

A day to share with others bringing hope peace and love,

Being of sound mind is a gift from heaven above.
