I prayed to the lord please don’t let it be,

That the power of darkness overcome me,

 

Lord please show me what I am up against,

He showed me the truth and opened up a fence,

 

He let me out and at that hour,

He blessed me with his mighty power,

 

With the truth in my heart I now know what I am fighting,

The years of torment where gone like lighting,

 

Keep the faith and put on your armor with pride,

Know more reasons to run or hide,

 

Stand your ground and pick up your shield,

I place you now in the battlefield,

 

You know your calling pick up your sword,

And by your side is the mighty Lord,

 

The Lord has taught me to be strong and opened a door,

You have been chosen to fight in God’s Holy war,

 

Remember never shall you be alone,

I give you my blessing as you approach God’s throne,

 

The lord granted me a spirit to know his will,

A humble servant the Lords cup I will fill,

 

Praise be to God for showing me the way,

I fight for the truth and near the lords protection I shall stay.
