Laughing with the Lord

To start my day to the lord I do sing,

Giving all praise and honor to my mighty king,

With tears of joy in my heart and mind,

I laugh with my lord for he is so kind,

Being carefree my laughter is the only thing I hear,

For I know the lord is O so near,

Having no worries I give the lord praise,

Being loving and cheerful throughout all my days,

Laughter is a grace which can be found,

Being close to the lord to him be bound,

Dancing and singing without a care,

The lord knows your heart and love to share,

Be of good cheer I hear him say,

Be filled with the spirit with joy on the way,

Heavenly gifts laughter does appear,

Never shall I be down never shall I feel fear,

Laughing with the lord daily is a must,

Within his graces I shall trust,

The lord loves his people happy he gives us this gift,

He brings laughter to there heart and there spirit he shall lift,

He seeks smiling faces and shares there joy so true,

He plants laughter in the hearts of those feeling blue,

I can’t think of having any other thing,

Then the Joy and laughter that the lord truly brings.
